New York Debut
Teresa Paz, soprano and director
Here’s your chance to experience something entirely new as the six singers and nine instrumentalists of the long-awaited Cuban ensemble Ars Longa make their New York debut. They perform 17th- and 18th-century Cuban music by the descendants of African slaves—the pieces featuring chant, and the dance rhythms and onomatopoeic lyrics of African languages.
