ALBA ConsortA journey of Medieval and Renaissance songs and dances from Persia, over the Caucasus Mountains to Armenia and the Mediterranean, seaward to Cyprus, Greece, Italy, France, North Africa, then through Iberia, dancing to the rhythms of the Atlantic.

ALBA Consort specializes in early music of the Mediterranean with oud, lute, vielle, voice and percussion and has performed with New York Philharmonic’s New World Initiative; at University of Chicago Presents; University of California’s Oriental Institute; Early Music Now, Milwaukee; Academy of Early Music, Michigan; and for GEMS Midtown Concerts.
