Essercizii Musici 

The Essercizii Musici by Telemann is one of the most accomplished collection of chamber music written in the late Baroque. It consists of 24 works composed for various combination of instruments. They are all very well crafted music even though Telemann has aimed for amateur musicians at his time. Concentus

Alex Yu and Ka-Wai Yu have grown up playing together in a musical family. Masayuki Maki joined them a decade ago at Indiana University and later at CUNY. The three are now university faculty members and sought-after artists, travelling internationally bringing witty fresh stream of Baroque Music to the audience.

Midtown Concerts sponsors lunchtime performances of music of the 18th century and earlier. Ensembles are chosen by a panel of early music specialists from the metropolitan area.
