Virtuosi Violini
This program, conducted by Founder and Artistic Director Thomas Crawford, presents virtuoso violin concertos from the Baroque era and includes Vivaldi’s Concerto for Four Violins, Albinoni’s Concerto No.12, Tartini’s Concerto in E minor, and Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins. The performance showcases the “plush, seductive tone’’ (The New York Times) of Chloe Fedor; a frequent concertmaster of the ensemble Les Arts Florissants, Augusta McKay Lodge; Aisslinn Nosky, concertmaster of Boston’s Handel and Haydn Society; and Edson Scheid, who “amazes with his seemingly superhuman technique…” (Fanfare).
