Orpheus in Hamburg: Telemann’s Private World

Mark Kramer, viola da gamba will be featured in solo and chamber music of Telemann — the “Baroque Orpheus” who took Europe by storm with his imaginative and effervescent works for diverse instruments. He will be joined by Ars Antiqua artists Kristen Watson ~ soprano, Daphna Mor ~ recorder, Jörg-Michael Schwarz ~ violin, Geoffrey Burgess ~ oboe, Dušan Balarin ~ theorbo and Jeffrey Grossman ~ harpsichord.
