DESCRIPTION:Le Carnaval Mascarade by Jean-Baptiste Lully\nLully’s comédie-ballet was first performed in 1675 at the Academie Royale de Musique\, created from favorite scenes from his earlier comedies. The libretto lampoons doctors\, teachers\, and lawyers\, and includes the famous Marche pour la cérémonie des Turcs from Molière’s Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme.
