Hildefest

Hildefest presents the Ordo Virtutum, Hildegard von Bingen’s visionary medieval morality play and one of the earliest surviving musical dramas. Bringing together community volunteers, emerging singers, and leading early music professionals, Hildefest bridges generations and experiences. Co-directed by Kevin C. Devine and Rocky Duval, the production brings the struggle between Virtues and the Devil into vivid dialogue with contemporary questions of conscience and moral choice. The festival also includes a children’s concert, inviting young audiences into Hildegard’s imaginative sound world.
