The stunning singers of New York Polyphony join Piffaro in a program of English music for the Christmas season. Ethereal polyphony from the Eton Choirbook and jaunty 15th-century carols will be bookended by music from as long ago as the 12th and 13th centuries as well as two pieces by 21st-century composer Andrew Smith written just for New York Polyphony. Despite representing vastly different eras, this evocative music of the season will transcend time and place.
