Three Nations, Four Parts

Quartet Salonnières explores the earliest era of string quartets. Featuring works by three composers on the cusp of the Baroque-Classical transition — one French, one Austrian, and one Italian — this concert is a portal into the multi-national birth of what would become one of classical music’s most venerated forms. Featuring music by Boccherini, Corrette, and Pleyel.
