Saint Peter’s Choir and Baroque Ensemble with Brian Giebler, Evangelist
A cornerstone of its classical music program, Saint Peter’s continues the cherished tradition of presenting a musical setting of the Passion on Good Friday, performing J.S. Bach’s Saint John Passion, BWV 245. Saint Peter’s Choir and Orchestra, under the direction of newly-appointed Director of Music and Interim Cantor Vincent Carr, will perform the “traditional” 1739/1749 version. This presentation includes period instruments and will be performed in German, with opportunity for participation with the Chorales, in English, by the congregation.
