Saint Peter’s Choir and Baroque Orchestra continues their annual tradition of presenting this masterwork on Good Friday in the context of the liturgy. The performance will be sung in German and feature period instruments, with opportunity for participation with the Chorales, in English, by the congregation. Saint Peter’s is the only place in the New York City metropolitan area to hear the piece presented in such a manner.
