Monteverdi’s Orfeo

Tenet Vocal Artists opens the 2026–2027 season with a fully-staged performance of Claudio Monteverdi’s Orfeo. Considered the earliest complete musical drama, Orfeo recounts the Orpheus myth through the libretto of Alessandro Striggio. This production features music direction by Charles Weaver, stage direction by Alyssa Weathersby, the projection designs of Camilla Tassi, and Jacob Perry in the role of Orfeo.
