Confessions

Confessions revives a rarely heard gallant work for soprano, alto, and bass with chamber orchestra titled Confitebor by Baldassare Galuppi. The show also features Vivaldi’s La Follia and sacred arias from Salve Regina and Nisi Dominus, as well as a trio sonata by Johann Adolph Hasse. All of these composers understood the healing power of music through their work at the Italian Ospedale.
