Lagrime di San Pietro by Orlando di Lasso

Lasso’s last masterpiece (1594), three weeks before his death: a madrigal cycle with poetry commenting on the tears of Saint Peter after his infamous denial, with singers, viols, and winds as heard in the Munich Kapelle.
