Join GEMS' Open Gates Project for Lusitano Rediscovered, a landmark performance celebrating the music of 16th-century Portuguese composer Vicente Lusitano (fl. mid-16th century), one of the earliest known Black composers in Europe. Directed by Lusitano expert Joseph McHardy, with the creative guidance of Biraj Bakakarty.
