Grammy-winning early music specialist and string player Robert Mealy leads Wen Yang’s young and vibrant historical performance ensemble New York Baroque Incorporated for a dance program featuring suites by Rameau, Lully, Purcell, and Handel. Two great Baroque dancers, Caroline Copeland and Carlos Fittante, take center stage.

GEMS has reserved a limited allotment of 74 tickets in the center front row of the mezzanine, the best vantage for the music and dancing.


French Cultural InstituteTicket price of $150 includes a donation of $85 to GEMS, and invitation to a gala reception with the artists following the performance. The catered reception will be held at the elegant Cultural Services of the French Embassy, across the street from the Metropolitan Museum. It will be a grand occasion to meet the musicians and dancers, as well as other supporters of early music.
