A celebration of the musical legacy of the Bach family, Bach & Sons explores the music of the great Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as that of his sons Wilhelm Friedemann, Carl Philipp Emanuel, and Johann Christian Bach. This musical family tree traces a journey from the Baroque to Classical period.

Taya, Kako and Clara first met and began playing together in The Juilliard School's Historical Performance program. An international group with members from Japan, Russia, and the United States, they have given performances across North America, as well as in Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

The previously scheduled concert with the Roberts, Whear, Yang Trio has been canceled due to scheduling difficulties from the pandemic.

Midtown Concerts sponsors lunchtime performances of music of the 18th century and earlier. Ensembles are chosen by a panel of early music specialists from the metropolitan area.

All concerts are free; no tickets or reservations are necessary.
