The American Classical Orchestra and its award-winning Classical Music for Kids program celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2019-2020 with the return of one of our most popular programs The Magic Recorder at the Norwalk Concert Hall for a family matinee. Back by popular demand, recorder virtuoso Horacio Franco of Mexico will once again dazzle our young audience with his exciting playing and dynamic stage presence. Experience the thrills (and chills) of Vivaldi's Winter, Spring, and Summer from The Four Seasons and the charm and beauty of Baroque music, as Maestro Thomas Crawford guides the children through an interactive performance.

Before the concert, children can try out a variety of orchestral instruments at the Instrument Petting Zoo, sponsored by Rental Instrument (limited space and a separate ticket is required). After the performance, Meet the Stars of the concert at a fun-food party sponsored by Stew Leonard's (limited space and a separate ticket is required).
