The site is designed to encourage discovery of 800 years of classical music repertoire and the artists active in the world of historical performance, including both established and emerging talents. The artist profiles on the site are enriched with multimedia content for exploration.

Established in September 2020, Continuo Foundation, the non-profit behind Continuo Connect, has taken an entrepreneurial approach to creating a new, privately-funded charitable organization specialized in supporting the UK's leading period-instrument performance sector.
