TrefoilTrefoil is a trio of singer-instrumentalists long active in early music. The ensemble performs intricate medieval songs on harps, lute and voices and has appeared in numerous concerts and master classes around the country.

Known for its remarkable sense of ensemble, Parthenia is presented in concerts across America, and produces its own lively and distinguished concert series at Corpus Christi Church in NYC.

Since its founding in 1972, the New York Consort of Viols has championed the beauty and breadth of music written expressly for or especially suited to the viol. The Consort has performed for enthusiastic audiences on campuses and in concert series throughout North America.

Asteria

Asteria brings out the passion and emotional impact of late medieval vocal and instrumental music with timeless love songs of wide appeal, transporting their listeners back to the age of chivalry. Their historically informed settings are based on extensive archival research into original sources in Paris, The Hague, and Basel, Switzerland.

Lionheart

LionheartLionheart is one of America's leading ensembles in vocal chamber music, best known for its interpretation of medieval and Renaissance a cappella music, with Gregorian Chant as the keystone of its repertoire. The ensemble also collaborates with instrumental ensembles, dance companies, and contemporary composers.

PomeriumInspired by the renowned chapel choirs of the Renaissance, Pomerium revives the golden age of a cappella singing. The ensemble, featuring some of the finest singers in the country and acclaimed for its luminous sound, performs frequently in New York as well as across the USA and abroad.

ARTEK

Founded in 1986 by director Gwendolyn Toth, ARTEKhas gained a reputation for exciting, dramatic performances of baroque music. Their concerts are full of compelling musical settings of beautiful poetry and infectious dance rhythms that infuse the performances with vitality and spirit.

East of the River

East of the RiverInternationally recognized recorder soloists Nina Stern and Daphna Mor have appeared playing as a duo with groups as varied as The New York Philharmonic and world music group Pharaoh's Daughter. In the early/world music project East of the River they collaborate with leading jazz and world musicians including virtuoso bassist Omer Avital, composer/accordionist Uri Sharlin, and Yo Yo Ma's "Silk Road Ensemble" percussionist Shane Shanahan.

The Western Wind

The internationally acclaimed vocal sextet, The Western Wind, has devoted itself to the special beauty and variety of a cappella music since 1969. The Ensemble's repertoire reveals its diverse background - from Renaissance motets to Fifties rock 'n' roll, from medieval carols to Duke Ellington, from complex works by avant-garde composers to the simplest folk melodies.
